The volume for a pyramid is [tex]V= \frac{1}{3}Bh [/tex]  where B is the base area and h is the height.  We have both the area and the height, so we fill in our formula accordingly: [tex]V= \frac{1}{3}(300)(7.1) [/tex].  That gives us a volume of 710 meters cubed.

To find the volume of a triangular pyramid, we use this equation:
(1/3)bh=V
B=the area of the base
Let's solve.
(1/3)(300)(7.1)=V
100×7.1=710
The volume of the triangular pyramid is 710 m³
